Kelly Tzanou is a psychologist and psychotherapist with extensive experience since 2011. She completed her foundational studies in Psychology at London Metropolitan University, followed by a Master’s degree at the University of East London. Currently, she is furthering her expertise through specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a scientifically validated approach that emphasizes the interconnection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
She has been also trained in a 4-year Training Program in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies for adults and children, organized in Thessaloniki by the Greek Association for Behavioral Modification and Research (GBA / Branch of Macedonia / North Greece), a member of the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT)
From 2011 to 2014, Kelly practiced as a psychologist in Athens and Chalkida, providing individualized psychological support and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele. In 2015, she relocated to Germany, where she has made significant contributions to mental health initiatives within the German Ministry of Education and the public sector. Since 2016, she has held a pivotal role at the Regional Ministry of Upper Bavaria, actively engaging in programs that promote psychological well-being and educational development.
In addition to her professional work, Kelly is deeply committed to community service, having volunteered with various organizations in Greece, including residential care facilities and support centers for vulnerable populations.
